Working closely with the Editor-in-Chief, Stacie manages all aspects of the peer review process, single topic issues, and issue line-up for the society journal she supports, as well as having responsibility for the journal’s social media content creation and outreach initiatives. Stacie interfaces with the society’s publisher with respect to journal print and online production activities. She is an expert user of ScholarOne Manuscript Central and Editorial Manager. Stacie has over 25 years’ experience in STEM publishing, including as the Editor-in-Chief for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development (JRRD) and Managing Editor for Proteins: Structure, Function and Bioinformatics. She earned dual BS degrees in marine biology/marine chemistry from Southampton College of Long Island University and a PhD in biophysics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
